As a design-specialized department covering the entire spectrum of lifestyles in the areas of furniture, space, textiles, and fashion, it is an academic discipline that researches and develops design capabilities through rational thinking in the organic relationship between form, function, and materials in each field through a convergence and integration curriculum.

The Department of Industrial Convergence Design focuses on fostering design capabilities that lead to convergence with other fields in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Our department provides students with convergent thinking and user-centered design approaches required in various fields such as technology, industry, and culture and arts, and supports them to acquire expertise. In particular, in the 21st century era of knowledge convergence, design plays a key role in convergence between industries, and the demand for designers continues to increase. Accordingly, the Department of Industrial Convergence Design is organizing a curriculum so that students can effectively acquire the capabilities required in various design fields through more specialized and practical experiences.
The environment we live in today is expressed as an infinite digital environment that is a fusion of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and the Metaverse, and various experiences within it. Therefore, the Department of Industrial Convergence Design provides education centered on product design, space design, and meta-fusion (UX/UI) design, and supports students to advance into various fields such as product, interior, environment, public, UI&UX, virtual environment (metaverse), graphics, editing, exhibition, stage, display, game, and furniture design based on their expertise and creative design capabilities.
In addition, the Department of Industrial Convergence Design provides various opportunities for students to obtain professional qualifications as well as participate in international and national competitions. Students can obtain various qualifications such as product design engineer, product design technician, product design industrial engineer, product application modeling technician, interior architecture engineer, interior architecture industrial engineer, metaverse content creator, metaverse utilization instructor, colorist industrial engineer, AutoCAD 1st and 2nd grade, and visual design engineer.
Through this, students will be able to receive recognition for their expertise as designers and become more competitive as next-generation professional designers leading the new paradigm of the 21st century.

We aim to foster next-generation professional designers who will lead the new paradigm by fostering creative and emotional formative abilities through the exploration of visual ideas and expressions and by cultivating core talents in the next-generation digital media convergence content design field, including visual, video, and digital media design.
Cultivating cartoon animation artists who create a beautiful world in a fun way
This department nurtures professional content creators capable of pioneering new cultural content markets by bringing together digital media technology and animation. Students are taught theoretical knowledge and professional skills related to webtoon (webcomics), 2D/3D animation, games, film, broadcasting and smart information technology.

The Faculty of Physical Education trains competent physical education researchers and instructors who can widely promote sports activities, which are at the center of leisure activities, and improve the quality of life of the people through systematic theoretical and practical lectures. In addition, we train professional manpower who can meet the increasing demand for professional manpower in various fields related to sports both domestically and internationally.

In this social atmosphere, we are cultivating high-level leisure sports experts who can care for the healthy mind, body, and spirit of the people.

We study and learn the theory and practice of Taekwondo, a traditional Korean martial art, to train international martial arts instructors. We focus on scientific exploration of basic and applied knowledge that a martial artist should have, as well as improving practical skills, leadership skills, language skills, and management skills. We also provide scholarships for those who win prizes in various competitions.
